When Sophie proposed to Alicia, she planned a romantic Canberra weekend, culminating in a surprise visit to Phoebe Porter’s studio to choose engagement rings. With flowers, champagne and music setting the scene, each selected a design and sapphire: a vivid Ceylon blue for Alicia and a distinctive Australian parti for Sophie, both to be set in 9ct white gold.

Later, the couple invited Phoebe to craft their wedding rings. Alicia’s titanium wedding ring features an unusual bi-coloured Australian sapphire with white gold inlay. Sophie’s ring echoes this detail, with white gold inlaid into rich yellow gold, subtly referencing the painterly line in her engagement stone.

They were married in Kangaroo Valley, with Phoebe Porter’s Axis earrings providing the finishing touch to Alicia's gorgeous outfit.
