Phoebe Porter's collection of customisable precious jewellery titled Modern Love is made to celebrate love and represent the intimate connections between people, place and time.

Drawing on her years of creative practice, Phoebe works directly with each client to craft jewellery that reflects their unique identity in her refined modernist style.
Designed and handmade entirely in Phoebe’s Canberra studio and crafted in a range of traditional and innovative materials of the highest quality, these pieces are made to last. Phoebe is committed to creating exquisite custom pieces that will be enjoyed for many, many years to come.

Please get in touch if you would like to make an appointment to discuss a custom project such as an engagement ring, wedding ring, or piece to celebrate an anniversary or important milestone. Appointments can be held in person at Gorman Arts Centre, Braddon (Canberra, Australia), or remotely via email, video call or telephone. The best way to get started is to submit a Custom Enquiry Form so that Phoebe can respond taking into account your requirements.
Here are a few guidelines about the custom order process

Ring sizing is quite a detailed process. If you are able to visit Gorman Art Centre, Phoebe is happy to confirm your ring size in person (by appointment only). Alternatively, she can send you a sizing gauge so you can measure your ring size at home. You can learn more about ring sizing here

Each piece is quoted on an individual basis taking into account the materials, ring size and making process. Precious stone prices vary based on type, size and quality. Phoebe is happy to work with you to design something within a specified budget.
Quotes for pieces using precious metals are valid for 7 days. Pieces may need to be re-quoted after this timeframe to allow for fluctuations in material costs.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm custom orders. The balance is due on delivery of the finished piece.
Shipping and transit insurance costs will be calculated before delivery and added to the final invoice.

Delivery of custom pieces takes 4-6 weeks from when the order is confirmed with payment of a 50% deposit.
