A native copper specimen from Broken Hill, Australia, creates a striking contrast with one of Phoebe Porter’s signature precision components, handmade in copper and featuring a brilliant sapphire from Oberon, Australia. The specimen has developed a rich green patina over many years. Left untreated, the copper blade will gradually oxidise, first darkening before eventually developing a green patina that echoes the specimen.
