A meteorite specimen from Argentina creates a striking contrast with one of Phoebe Porter’s signature precision components, handmade in stainless steel. Both materials are composed predominantly of iron. The Campo del Cielo meteorites, whose name translates as ‘Field of the Sky’, are estimated to be 4.5 billion years old, originating during the formation of our Solar System.
